Glass blowing is the action of forming glass into various shapes/designs. Glass molten is formed by air being blown in through a blow tube at the opposite side. Glass is first heated up to the temperature of 2400 degrees which allows all the air bubbles in the glass to disappear. the temperature is then dropped to around 1600- 1900 degrees, this is where the forming begins. Once done forming, the piece is placed in the "annealer," where it is cooled over anywhere from a few days to a few hours. Glass blowing dates back to the Roman Empire.
