3D Printed Lamp Shade

I enjoy this 3d printed lamp shade because I feel it follows both function and form. The shade itself mimics an Artichoke (yes, the vegetable). The shades act as the leaves that grow on the artichoke and protect the "heart" of the plant, in this case being the light bulb. The leaves block large portions of light from passing through but also still allow some to show through the small cracks. You would obviously not put this in your living room because it produces low amounts of light, but I can easily see it being put in a study or area of the house that you go to unwind. It is also pleasing to look at.
